Stumpy Money Tree
Pachira aquatica, most commonly referred to as a Money Tree, is native to the marshes and rainforests of Mexico, Central, and South America. Pachira are perfect for beginner plant parents because they are quite hardy and suitable for multiple environments. They are immensely popular as a token of fortune and goodluck, and are used in feng shui as a way to invite calming energy and positivity into living spaces. Pachira are happiest in bright indirect light, but do well under fluorescent lights, making them popular office plants. Pachira should be watered regularly so that the soil is always at least lightly moist but never dry. They do well in high humidity areas such as kitchens and well-lit bathrooms.
Earthy, Clean, Minimal
Our Classic Collection features a tapered terracotta design in two sizes and three styles highlighted by its beautiful color and lush green foliage.
The Classic is made of terracotta: a porous, breathable material that allows for water and air circulation in the soil and creates a healthy environment for the plant. The word terracotta can trace its roots back to the Latin words “terra cocta” meaning baked earth. This clay-based pot minimizes over-watering and helps plants maintain healthy roots by absorbing excess moisture from the soil. In addition to its health benefits terracotta is known for developing a unique patina that gives it a beautiful and timeless look as it ages. Inspired by the minimalist lifestyle, this planter is simplistic, tasteful, and authentic.
